English: Lying-down concert in Amsterdam-Noord

For our international friends we have translated the concert information in English:

After a successful first round in May, we are thrilled to announce our second lying-down concert on Friday, October 13! This time, we’ll be performing at the Nieuwendammerkerk in Amsterdam-Noord, which offers more space for visitors and is conveniently located at just a 20-minute walk from North Station.

The program will mostly mirror our first lying-down concert, with one or two new songs added to our repertoire. The blend of music and poetry was well-received, so we’re delighted to have Brecht Reintsema back to enrich the program with her poetic interludes (in Dutch). Once again, there will be both lying-down spaces and chairs available. You can read about our first lying-down concert in this retrospective to get an idea of what to expect.

Come and unwind at our concert, where you can relax while listening to our harmonious singing while lying down. We’ll perform a mixed a cappella repertoire, primarily featuring calm classical pieces, along with a few lighter works. In between musical pieces, Brecht Reintsema will recite poems that align with the concert’s themes.

There is a limited number of tickets available for lying-down spots, so act quickly if you want to experience the concert while lying down! For visitors choosing to lie down, we recommend bringing your own mat and pillow for added comfort. We will provide rugs on the floor and some pillows.
